User Submitted S-Video to 3-RCA Composite AV Cable for Laptop PC TV Reviews Date: 2010-07-28 Good comm - wrong item I received the wrong item. I needed a 7-pin cable and I received a 4-pin one. The seller did not make bad communication, but the item page did not specify which type of cable it was. The seller should not expect the buyer to "guess" what kind of cable it is, especially from the picture which is unclear whether it is a 7-pin or a 4-pin. I did not return the item because as useless as the cable is it is more expensive for me to send it back than to get the refund. Overall the transaction was smooth and fast, and good communication. It was just the item that arrived that was the incorrect one, which is the most important portion of the deal. The seller was good in communication, just 'bad/false' advertising, if you will. Thank you, and hope this helps. Date: 2010-07-13 works well, good price, too short I would give it 5 stars if the cable were four feet longer. Nevertheless, it works perfectly so far. I use it to hook up a TV to my computer. Date: 2010-07-08 Great for movies i'm not sure if it is the cable or the tv itself, but the quality for anything other than movies is terrible. If you plan on using this cable for a second screen, forget about it. Date: 2010-07-06 good solution I use this product to connect my laptop to my television through an RCA splitter. I have several components connected to my tv (DVD, PS2, Cable, Wii). Unfortunately, there was no way to daisy chain all of my equipment, so I bought a splitter. It solved my connection problem. So, I have Netflix and want to watch movies on my TV with my family rather than huddled up around my little laptop, so I needed a way to connect to the system. RCA is the only way to do that and my laptop only has a vga and an s-video output. I found that an S-video connector at one end with an RCA connector worked the best. The video through the cable is not the best but it works. Date: 2010-06-12 This cable works great I bought this cable about a month ago. I am using it to connect my laptop with my old Sanyo TV to play internet TV, Audio & Video CDs. The picture and audio quality is great. The cable is thick and is of excellent quality. * Price is subject to change. |
