Panasonic Bluray disc player
I purchased this late last year and at the time, Panasonic were promising upgrades for the Vieracast. Much to my disappointment, they did not add Netflix capabilities on the 2009 models but did on the 2010. Panasonic, shame on you. If you would have been more upfront with the public, I would have waited a few months.

NO NETFLIX!!!!!!
It's really sad...That this Blu-ray player from Panasonic is the "previous" generation with VieraCast that doesn't play Netflix. The next model up plays Netflix, why can't this? Instead, we get teased with the "Coming Soon" section that never will.
Don't get me wrong, It plays Blu-ray movies pretty well with decent load times. It links to my Panasonic Plasma HDTV so that I can use a single remote to use on both. It upconverts DVD movies nicely.
But the back of my mind keeps saying "I should have gotten a PS3."

Blu-Ray Panasonic Rebuilt Unit
I ordered the rebuilt unit due to the extreme savings... and with my experience of buying rebuilt products they are just as good as buying a new product. So I see the overall satisfaction is the savings in Dollars and getting a quality product.

Good, but slow
This player is good, but is a little slow. It takes about 10 seconds to turn on, 10 seconds to open the draw, put in a DVD and close the draw and about 10 seconds to turn off. The remote is OK, but the skip button is a little to close to the slow search button. For some reason it never turns captions on, and there is no button on the remote to turn captions on in the middle of the movie, so that is a pain if you watch a lot of foreign films.

Great Blu Ray Player
Product was delievered brand new as advertised. Perfect condition when arrived. Worked immediately after installation. Cheaper than in the stores.
