Date: 2010-03-30 No complaints - perfect little dvd player When my old DVD player broke I was not looking forward to spending a ton of money on a new one. I just needed a basic dvd player to watch movies on and this was perfect. It was cheap and works great was and was easy to install, great quality. I was also surprised by how light and small it was! I don't understand the negative reviews - it's a basic dvd player. It plays dvds on your television. What more do you need? Date: 2010-03-30 I liked it Works great, what I would expect from the description Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD Player, Black Date: 2010-03-29 Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD Player I currently own 4 DVD Players. One is a Blu-Ray and one is a DVD/VCR Combo. I also have two DVD players for our upstairs guess rooms. Both of the upstair DVD were acting up as well as being rather old so I checked with Amazon for a replacement. I found the Sony DVP-SR200P/B DVD players for $39.99. My daughter was having problems with her DVD player so for $40.00 a pop, I added a third to my order. All came in about a week and the DVD players are working fine. They handle subtitles and audio features like Dolby 5:1 with no problem. Only inconvience is that the remote does NOT have an option to open or close the disk tray... Yes I need to get my butt over to the unit to close the tray. Yet this rather inexpensive unit has a memory. When I take out one disk for another, then switch back to the original, the DVP-SR200P/B remembers where I had left off on the first disk I was playing..... Not bad for 40 bucks. I am very pleased with the cost and the operation of these DVD Players. My daughter also reports no problems at all. I hope this will help anyone who may be looking for an additional DVD player for the bedroom of play room. Date: 2010-03-20 Very good player I found the picture and sound quality to be very good. I was actually surprised at the quality because of the low price. I would recommend this product to everyone. Date: 2010-03-19 Remote is only problem Nice and compact player. It plays CDs, which I wasn't expecting - so that was a bonus. Only drawback is the remote: it can control many models of TVs - just not the one I have. * Price is subject to change. |
