Date: 2008-12-17 THE ZOOM TEXT STAYS ON!!! just incredible. you zoom out and the text (2x or 4x)stays on. whoever designed this feature should be fired on the spot. i have a plasma tv that would most likely burn in this text plus seeing that text all the time would get old fast. a day later: i just discovered that my tv can also zoom out!!! yey! so this is no longer an issue for me. i definitely like the picture quality and i now feel much better about this purchase. thank you Panasonic for not displaying the zoom text. note: if you don't use the zoom feature, i would consider this dvd a 5 star. like i said, the picture looks great and the price is great too. and Amazon is the greatest! free shipping and it only took 2 days to be delivered. I am disappointed that the included remote doesn't handle very many functions on what should be a highly compatible television. Makes the older DVD's even look great on the HDTV. For what it does for the price, I could not be happier.
