Date: 2008-08-26 Looks really nice on the wall Ordered this T.V. for my wife to put in the kitchen. It looks great in the kitchen with white appliances works great and she really likes it Date: 2008-08-24 Stupid Marketing and Horrible Customer Service This TV comes with a sticker on the front, which did not come off without leaving a GREAT DEAL of glue residue on the front of the TV. Called Customer Service a number of times, and wasted hours of time. After suggesting a ton of "home remedies" for removing the glue, they caused stains to be left on the monitor. Then I started wasting more time dealing with Customer Service to figure out how to get an exchange, but Customer Service refuses to recognize that the problem is their own fault. Customer Service promised to get back to me within 48 hours; it has been almost two weeks, but still no resolution. Samsung Marketing team is just plain stupid -- why would you put a sticker on the front of a TV and risk ruining it with glue residue? Samsung Customer Service is horrible, and I am extremely frustrated. I used to be a loyal Samsung buyer, but after this experience, I will have to rethink my brands. Date: 2008-08-22 Okay HD TV for the price! I bought this television based upon the customer ratings and specs. The first television arrived (early) and had a stuck blue pixel. Amazon's return process was great and I had a replacement in a few days. However, the replacement also has a stuck pixel (only red not blue). I realize stuck pixels are somewhat common, but I still don't like it. For $360.00 it should work great! I haven't decided if it's worth the hassle to send this one back also. Date: 2008-08-11 Perfect except for the "sticker" Everthing was perfect except for that damn sticker they put on the screen and side of the TV. I spent forever trying to remove the glue from the screen and the chassis. As far as the TV goes, even my wife could figure it out right away. Nice picture once you get the glue off. I would buy another one but keep some car "bug remover" nearby. Date: 2008-08-02 Great replacement television for old tube tv Once again I am very pleased with the delivery provided by Amazon! My eighty year old mother needed a new tv after her very old tube tv gave up the ghost last week. Since she is a shut-in, wants to keep things simple and doesn't have a lot of space, we decided to stick with the 19 inch, which was the same size as the tube. Thankfully, I was able to find the size she wanted and based on the reviews for the Samsung, placed my order on Wednesday and lo and behold, had it by Friday afternoon. The set up was so fast and easy and Mom is just delighted with the picture and audio. I would definitely recommend this television especially if all you want to do is plug it in the wall, plug in your cable wire, turn it on and enjoy. Oh yes, also the price was just what I could live with.
