Date: 2008-11-17 Very pleased with product and shipping I'm very pleased with this whole experience! I was a little nervous about spending a large amount of money on an item that I could not see prior to purchasing. But Amazon came through.... no problem. The set arrived with a special delivery service that called me prior to arrival so that I would be home. They unboxed it, turned it on to make sure it was working properly, and even offered to take the trash away. All for one of the best prices I could find anywhere. Great job Amazon! Date: 2008-11-17 Samsung 52" LCD Researched this on Consumer Reports and Amazon. I've had it for about a month and all I can say is "toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore". Wow! If I knew TV could be like this I would have taken the plunge earlier. Got all the cool HD stuff, surround, blue ray disc. etc. Performs flawlessly. If you need more than this you have life issues that won't be settled by technology. My first LCD HDTV and must say LOVE IT,color is great,so sharp. buy it. Now for delivery. One fellow delivered it and sure wasn't that friendly like I have read on here.I admit its not real heavy but it is large and should have been two people.The black around the picture was finely scratched. The tv its self is great. Date: 2008-11-16 Even better than expected!!! I purchased this Samsung 52 inch TOC 650 120Hz series LCD HDTV in August of this year (2008). Amazon's delivery service got it to my door several days earlier than the date given and I was kept informed of this early arrival inadvance. This was a delivery into NYC, and you never know what you're going to get, but the white glove delivery was just fine. As for the TV, it's terrific! The picture is just amazing. I honestly haven't any issues with the built-in speakers or the much maligned remote control, either. They do the trick for me. Also, I did not have any of the issues with the TV turning on and off, on it's own. I guess my TV's software was updated in the factory/production. If you've been considering buying this particular model, it would be an excellent purchase. It's well worth the money and the price continues to drop. I give it my highest recommendation. There IS a reason that Consumer Reports gave this very model it's highest overall rating (LCD HDTV's over 50 inches).
