User Submitted Magnavox MWD2206 DVD/VCR Combination Player Reviews Date: 2010-08-20 Great machine, picked up for a pittance! Took almost no time to connect, works like a charm. Cannot believe I got this for under $60! I have used for about 6 months, on a regular basis. Tip: if you get a clinker, just exchange it, I had no trouble with TWO different units of these, same model. Date: 2010-04-02 Broken This machine ate up two of my tapes. Hope I get a refund asap. Haven't heard a word. Date: 2010-02-23 JUNK LASTED 3 MONTHS I BOUGHT THIS VCR/DVD PLAYER FOR MY MOTHER BECAUSE IT WAS EASY TO USE AND LIKE THE ONE SHE HAD. WE WERE HAPPY AT FIRST IT WAS WORKING GOOD, EXCEPT IT WAS VERY LOUD WHEN FF & REW AND WHEN IT STOPS IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TAPE BROKE. AFTER 3 MONTHS THE DVD STOPPED WORKING AND THE DVD IS STUCK INSIDE, AND NOW THE VCR FLIPS SOMETIMES. I WROTE TO DISCOUNT JUNGLE (THROUGH AMAZON) AND THIS IS THE ANSWER I GOT. I GUESS THEY MEAN TUFF SH..!@ We are sorry to hear about your experience with the purchased unit. As much as we want to assist you, the item is no longer under warranty. We own about as many VHS tapes as we do DVD's, and our old VCR decided to stop working. It took some getting used to it, but it works wonderfully. There are no complaints from my end. Date: 2010-01-17 poor quality control Hooked it up w/o difficulty. DVD player worked well. VCR did everything but play (rewind/FF, etc all worked). Returned item. * Price is subject to change. |
