User Submitted Magnavox DVD Recorder/VCR Combo, HDMI 1080p Up-Conversion, No Tuner Reviews Date: 2010-07-09 Magnavox ZV427MG9 DVD Recorder/4-Head H/F VCR I had to purchase a RF modulator ($20)before I could use this device. It does not have the ANT. IN/Out connections a regualer VCR usually has. This device is manufactured to be used with newer TV sets; not the old ones without the three pronged cord hookups. However, now that I have it hooked up to an older TV, it plays my VCR cassette and DVD disks well. I'm now using this unit to reorganize my VCR recordings onto DVD format. "Nice"! Date: 2010-06-26 Works for me - did what I wanted to do I did not want to pay too much to convert some old VHS tapes to CD's. This unit converts efficiently and the quality of the recordings are as good as the tapes. No problems setting up and operating. Date: 2010-05-27 Great Company Very good Customer service. Will buy from these folks again. Great item. If it is refurbished, its damn hard to tell.
