Luckily, the projectors brightness can be reduced, which also lengthens the life of the bulb. It is meant to be used very close to the screen. The lens is very wide angle. I guess that keeps the image bright, but I prefer a little less wide angle lens. I don't think that the lens is replaceable. Other than those small issues, it works well, is easy to use and is light and easy to carry around. Amazon's price was over $200 less than most other dealers. Date: 2010-05-16 Good Projector, so-so zoom I bought this projector for training. Nice size and easy to set up. The USB set-up does NOT work with my Apple so Mac users beware. The zoom capability could be better. You have to move the projector close to the screen as it does not zoom DOWN well. Otherwise, bright picture, clean edges and very easy to transport as it is compact is size. Arrived in five days from Amazon. * Price is subject to change.
