Date: 2009-12-26 This thing stinks Cannot seem to get this to work with my iPod, iPhone, computer, or even the portable DVD player. There is no support, and since it is a third party vendor through Amazon, I can't even seem to return this, so I am out $300. The brief screen flashes I managed to get out of it were small and weak. This is a piece of junk; don't waste your money on it. A just slightly larger business portable would be way better (although more expensive -- you get what you pay for.) Date: 2009-12-25 Great product but little instruction The Swivel is a great product overall--but there is very little documentation. It really only works with an Ipod or Iphone but that takes some figuring to understand that point. The next challenge is how to use the Iphone for PowerPoint presentations or photos--you have to upload your slides/photos etc to [...]. (you also have to download that free app to your Iphone)and from there it is pretty easy to use and obviously very portable. Good luck! I bought this product at Amazon.com and it arrived as specified. Date: 2009-12-24 Just Good! I was very much looking forward to this amazing gadget. A few weeks later I am slightly disappointed and thought I would share this so that other users know what they let themselves in for. I bought it specifically for my iphone, but was very gutted to hear that it only supports video and photo slideshow on the phone. I was hoping to show of some of the amazing apps I bought and am developing myself. The resolution is not great and it needs to be very dark for you to achieve a good enough image. They advertise it by showing that you can shine it on the side of a tent - I am not so sure what that would accomplish. If you are in a dark room and you have got a smooth white surface to project against, it is all right. If you were thinking of using headphones while watching the movie, you can't change the volume. So all and all, I would give it a 3 out of 5 and probably would not have bought it had I the chance to do it again.. Sorry. Date: 2009-12-24 Cinemin Swivel Review It seems to be a well built product, but I was unable to make it work on my I Phone or Commputer. I GOING TO sent it back for full refund. Waiting for a RGA. The problem is support or lack of, or there is NONE. In very small letters on the Shippint box there is a web-address that I got on and located their address and on the page it had a location for support. E-mailed my problem and I did get a reply will have an answere in two to five days, what that about? Been ten days, still waiting. E-mailed Amazon about the problem. They did a good job of sending the e-mail to their "third party" and again I got a reply that we would have an answere in two day. Still waiting!!!!!! Going to send it back!!!!!!! (((THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY SUPPORT))) Date: 2009-12-21 Excelnte proyector de mano Me parece que para ser un dispositivo de mano ofrece una resolucion aceptable, facil de usar y trabaja con mi iphone 3GS y el ipod touch. Excelente para mostrar imagenes a mis estudiantes durante la visita medica. Mi hija lo disfruta cuando esta aburrida en algun sitio y puede ver la pelicula del ipod con sus amigos. * Price is subject to change. |
