Date: 2009-10-15 Excellent Ethernet Cables I purchased Belkin Ethernet Cat 5e cables the week before I got these, and this Amazon Ethernet Cat5e cable is just as comparable. Great build quality, very durable, clicks into place easily and stays in, and they are easy to remove. These cables come with a plastic flap over the cable release pin (as shown in the picture), but they do not get in the way at all. There are no speed problems, and they work quickly, simliar to the speeds of the other Belkin cables I bought. The Amazon packaging for these was great. These cables came in a cardboard box inside another cardboard box. The cables are snug inside, and suffer no damage. The packaging is very simple to open, and no problems at all. There was no damage to the cables. The cables work great. I recommend these Amazon Ethernet Cat5e cables. 5 out of 5. Date: 2009-10-15 Not much to say about this cable What can you say about Ethernet cable? It works. The minimal packaging is a good idea. We use the cable for temporarily connecting an XBox 360 game console to the Internet. It's nice to have for that. But it's hard to say much more about a commodity product like this. It's like reviewing an apple or an orange or a potato. Pretty generic, and hard to tell one from another. Date: 2009-10-15 Solid cable The RJ45 is a solid ethernet cable. It securely clicks into my laptop and router. It maintained the speed of data transfer that my more expensive cable provided. It was flexible enough to be twisted to hide around corners. And it had nice protective covers to keep the snap from snagging. Now that I see the price, I would purchase one of these next time I needed a cable. Date: 2009-10-15 An quality patch cable Transfer rates are fast, the packaging was nice (no more clamshell wrapper, hooray!) and 50 feet reaches my old PC - the one without wifi, so I can grab all my old tax documents off of it without any issues. Date: 2009-10-15 What I was looking for... Basic Review: Technical highlights are provided by others. When searching Amazon for network cables before coming across this one, I read other reviews by people who were disappointed with their purchases. This was because they thought that they were getting something similar to this product, when in fact, what they were getting was custom made or just the individual pieces. If you are looking for a no hassle network cable just like you would find in a retail store, then look no further. Not only are there no problems, but this cable is much cheaper than you would find in an ordinary store. I am currently using it as I type this review. * Price is subject to change. |
