Date: 2010-04-03 First time Mom's lifesaver for road trips! My husband and I purchased this DVD player for our daughter's 1st birthday, we live about 9 hours from family and travel back and forth often, even though she is now only 13 months, we thought if it entertained her for 15 minutes here and there it would be worth the investment... it was!!!! We love it. The 'hold' button is AMAZING! Once that is set the play, stop, menu, etc, buttons are disabled with, and believe me with a little one, that is a MUST! It is a little bulky and heavy for her little tiny hands, but absolutely NOT a complaint because of the quality of material's and craftsmanship! I give Sony 5 stars! I love the big screen, clear picture, cute pink casing and the swivel screen is SOOOOOO wonderful! I would recommend this portable player to ANYONE! The best part is the 6 hour battery but she also hooks it up to her TV and plays DVD's thru it - she is thoroughly satisifed with it and has passed it on to many people Date: 2010-02-06 Best on the market! Bought this for Christmas for my daughter to replace an old 7" DVD player. It was a bit more pricey but we wanted something that would hold up and last longer for her. She loves to watch movies when we travel. She loves everything about it. The picture is crisp and clear, sound quality is great, and it's easy to use. She loves the pink color as well. Our household DVD player broke recently, so we hooked this up to our big TV to watch a movie together and it worked great for that as well. Price on Amazon was about 30.00 cheaper than stores and we got free shipping too! Very pleased with this purchase! * Price is subject to change. |
