Date: 2010-05-12 Quite pleased I purchased this Sony DVD player for my brother and he was so pleased with it that I purchased one for myself. It has great picture quality and the audio is very good, also. My brother says that the battery life is O.K. but I use mine with the power cord. It is a little on the heavy side with the battery attached but nothing drastic. I am an "electronics junkie" so I didn't have any trouble setting it up or operating it, but my brother had to read the booklet. The booklet is very easy to read and the directions are well written so that isn't a problem. I definately recommend this DVD player. Date: 2010-05-12 totally sweet I bought this CD for my Dad. He loves the swivel screen. It would be nice if it came with a case, though. Date: 2010-05-11 So far, so good I have had this for about a month and so far, I only have a few complaints. I think it's basically a good product. I'm disappointed in a couple of things. One, is that the remote doesn't light up so when it's dark I can't see any of the buttons. Also, if I adjust the screen to full screen and hit pause or stop, it automatically goes back to the small screen and I have to readjust it. This is frustrating when watching a DVD and having to pause for phone or bathroom, etc. Also I have to adjust the picture quality each time I put a new DVD in or the faces will be greenish. Otherwise, it's definitely good for what I bought it for, battery life has been very good (I do not use it while also plugged in as per suggestion from another review). Date: 2010-05-09 Great DVD Player for kids I love this DVD player. I have a 2 yr old who uses it. I like that the buttons are under the screen instead of the base of the player. It is less tempting for her to touch. The remote is great b/c I can control it even when she is holding it. I have only owned this for a short period of time but highly recommend this to anyone. Date: 2010-05-07 Amazon.com to the rescue Purchased this DVD player for Hubby five days before his birthday. He was completely surprised. The player lived up to his expectations and then some. Of course, he head to post a hands off sign to keep the children from absconding with it. * Price is subject to change. |
