Cheap Blu Ray Player DOES THE JOB
First of all, Sorry for all of those who are reading this right now because you are probably staring at a $136.99 price...

I bought it on here for $59.99 w/ free shipping (got real lucky, i know). Now with that being said, it is still a great Blu Ray Player.

GOOD - It works, both DVDs and Blu-Rays look great, Cheap

BAD - No internet capability (but I knew this before I bought it).

Owned for 1 month, watched about 5 blu-rays 5 dvds, not a single problem. Heard people on here saying you need to upgrade firmware or something to play newer blu-rays, but haven't had to do that yet.

Overall 5/5 (if you can snag it for under $100)

DVD player
Replacement for an older DVD player. Glad I purchased this model. Slow at opening, but otherwise a very good buy.

Good and cheap blu ray
As blu ray discs become cheaper, players are also turning also cheaper (I remember when a ps3 was cheaper than a Blu ray player)... this is a good example of price and functionality....
Would happy recommend

Very Pleased
Got this on amazon for $70. Couldn't be happier. Plugged in usb cable (not included) from unit to TV, went out and bought Toy Story on Blu-Ray for my son. Works like a charm, I didn't feel load times were too long. I have a Sony Dvd player that takes longer than this. Not really into too much tech stuff, but I have to admit the picture is INCREDIBLE with Blu-ray. Very happy with this purchase.

Somewhat noisy and slightly cumbersome to use
The biggest flaw is that the player was noisy, or at any rate not silent. This was slightly distracting at times, although I sit only a few feet from the player.

Overall, the user interface seemed cumbersome. For example, the fast forward function was hard to use: instead of playing quickly, just isolated frames from playback were shown. Subtitles also failed to render at higher speeds, so one could not easily skim a movie. The player does not remember where it was in a movie, so if you stop and restart later, you have to find the spot you left at. And the player is a slow to do this besides.

The video looked good, but I cannot say how it compares to other Blu-Rays. The DVD upscaling was not quite as smooth as on another player I used, however.
