User Submitted Coby TFDVD7008 7-Inch Portable DVD/CD/MP3 Player (Black) Reviews Date: 2010-07-28 Spend a little more - this is a lemon Thanks Amazon for a great return policy. I have never had a good experience with the Coby brand and this one finalized my feelings -- NEVER again. Worked ok until it got to the first track change of the DVD. Then the "skipping began". Every track change same thing. Just an inferior product. Date: 2010-07-24 No car charger I like this DVD player. But, I did not realize it does not come with a car charger. If you are on a road trip that could be a problem. I ended up buying a car charger. The AC plug zonked out also. So, I ended buying another one. Those two items together cost just about as much as the DVD player. Other than that it's fine. Pretty durable since it's being used by a 5 year old boy. We are in the car quite a bit so it has gotten lots of use. Date: 2010-07-21 great dvd player for the $ This is a great little dvd player for the money. My 5 year old can operate it independently. The battery life held its own as well. The only down side is needing to buy a separate car adapter. Date: 2010-07-21 THE DVD player only worked for 2 months After two months of little use the DVD player gives an bad disc error to every disc put in the machine including a dvd cleaner disc. I am not happy with this machine at all! Date: 2010-07-17 unhappy with quality I did lots of research on portable dvd players before purchasing this - thought I made a good choice. I bought it for my 2 year old for a road trip. We used it for 2 days before leaving for our trip, then the day before leaving for our trip, it stopped working. It wouldn't read the many different discs I tried. I was very unhappy!!!! I tried the different troubleshooting strategies in the owner's manual to no avail. Didn't feel like dealing with a deficient product, so returned it immediately, went to local best buy and purchased a Philips portable DVD for a bit more money. Hope not to have any problems with this one! * Price is subject to change. |
