User Submitted PTC Mini-DVI to HDMI Adapter with 6ft HDMI Cable for Macintosh Reviews Date: 2010-09-03 Worked... mostly Product worked as advertised. We use it to connect my wife's 13" black MacBook (2008 model I think) to our TV. The connection between the converting cable and the laptop isn't great though, so it needs something pushing up on it to make it work. Still, it works and comes with an HDMI cable, so we're not too sad. Does not carry sound, but we knew that. It works very well for me, but it is pretty tight and could potentially break your connector if you aren't careful. (Hence the 4-star rating.) Date: 2010-08-27 Great Price, Awesome Job I got this to hook up my Macbook to my 32 inch Vizio HDTV. I am beyond impressed. The price is unbeatable as these things are MUCH more expensive at the Apple store. And with the added bonus of an HDMI chord, it was just too good to pass up. It's straight plug-and-play; no installing software. Once connected, the display looked very sharp on my TV. If you want to connect your Macbook to an external monitor or TV, this is definitely the best way to do it and the cheapest! Great product, ships very fast. Date: 2010-08-26 Very cheap and works how it should This mini dvi to hdmi is incredibly convenient. For the price, it beats products sold at the apple store anyday. This mini dvi to hdmi and the hdmi to hdmi cable is comparable to the mini dvi to dvi then dvi to hdmi at the apple store. People who do not know about this product here will go to the apple store and buy the mini dvi to dvi cable and the dvi to hdmi for 40$ total.
