I am a month in with this cable and it is perfect so far Date: 2010-07-08 Remove cap on end of cable If you have never used an optical cable before, you might not know that you must remove the protective caps on the ends of this cable. I bought two of these because when I got my home theater system it only had one audio input so I had to put in a switcher.
