User Submitted Sharp LC19SB25U 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV Reviews Date: 2009-01-07 Great Tv After having one of these TV's for about six months, I purchased 3 more for my kids for Christmas, and they all are working great. Excellent TV for both Comcast Cable or a digital TV antenna. It has a nice built in signal meter to peak the antenna signals. HDTV has great quality. I use one in my small office on my desk, and my Jayco camper trailer in the summer. Great color setup and sound quality for a small TV. I have nothing bad to say! I would buy it again! Date: 2009-01-01 Not so Sharp tv's I know what you are saying about sound. They used the cheapest they could find. External speakers are a must. For what these junkers cost they should last more than 1 yr. 3 mo. Turned it on yesterday and it turned itself back off immediately. I've owned Sharp tv's since the 80's but they have gone by the way other companies have. Take the quality out so the profit is higher. No more dim sharps for me. Date: 2008-12-26 Good solid TV Easy to set up and configure. We didn't notice the sound issues that other reviewers have mentioned; perhaps because we are using it in a bedroom. No complaints. Date: 2008-12-20 Good Picture, Sound is Sufficient, Great Price for HDTV The picture is just as the Company name implies - Sharp. The color is very good, the picture can be seen from all angles. The sound is more than sufficient for our purposes; the TV is placed in the kitchen. If there is a lot of noise around, you will have to turn the volume up nearly all the way. I was a little surprised by the weakness of the speakers. However, that said, I was purchasing for a specific purpose and it fills that need very well. It is hooked directly to the cable box through the HDMI port and it was a breeze to install. I do question why the screen is slightly tilted past the vertical with the top ever so slightly forward, however, I do not see where that makes a difference with the picture quality. With it sitting on the countertop, it might even be helpful. An adjustable stand would have been a nice feature. The dimensions are especially nice as its vertical dimension is 14.1 inches and allows it to fit nicely under our cabinets. Based on the price, quality of the picture, and its looks, it is a very nice product. Date: 2008-11-27 Nice Picture But Where's The Sound I purchased this TV for my wife to watch in the kitchen. I have it connected to Comcast cable without a digital/HD box and the picture on all channels is great. However, the sound is another thing. The digital channels can be set at a reasonable volume, but the analog channels are a whisper at full volume. Will try a set of power speakers to see if improves the sound on the analog channels.
