Hellava deal
I waited for 4 weeks before I committed to buying this model. The Panasonic was oK but it wasn't as clear as the Samsung. I love the ease of using the remote and the TV not being so complicated. Since I was concerned about the burn in issue, I've heard from many people. I got the extra warranty ( the any and everything warranty). But the best thing was getting this TV from Brandsmart USA for $798!!!

So I think with a good Plasma I'm pleased with at a good price. I can deal with a few criticisms.

Great TV at a better price!
This tv is awesome. I have a 42" in the same model and they are the best bang for the buck on the market that I've found. With my DVR and HD, the picture is as good to me as my in-laws 52" Samsung LCD 1080p at less than half the price.

Samsung 50" HD Plasma TV
Great picture, however - I already have a Dish Network logo "screen burned" into the upper left corner. Buyers should be very careful with this TV.

BRILLIANT PICTURE FOR A 720p
I have owned a Visio 720p plasma for about 2 years. Bought this as a gift and am really impressed. I have really liked my visio, until i saw the Samsung.

The Samsung has better picture, more inputs, better connectivity, better remote, better software and it was $300 less than I spent on my Visio at Sam's Club. I am very "picky" when it comes to anything I buy, but especially technology. I researched for a couple weeks before pulling the trigger on the Samsung.

I would swear this was a 1080p and not a 720p... Colors are rich. Brightness is great. FOOTBALL LOOKS AWESOME. The system's input auto switching feature makes connecting anything (DVD, Game System, Cable Box) really easy. Lots of connections. Fantastic price...

As I said, my nature is very picky, even critical, and at the same time I am very thrifty in my spending, always looking for the BEST DEAL. For home and work, I have purchased 4 HDTV's and 3 projectors over the last 2 years. This is by far the best picture of all the HDTV's i've purchased, even the 1080p LCD's. At the same time it was the least expensive HD I've purchased. IF YOUR ON THE FENCE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT, DONT LET THE 720p CONCERN YOU.

Amazon shipped very quickly (faster than I expected) and the "White Glove" delivery from their delivery vendor was great.

Wish I would have bought 2...

Best TV for the price!
I've owned this TV for about a month and so far I Love it! I don't have a surround sound system yet and when I first got it there were a few shows where the sound was a little buzzy. I made a few adjustments to the sound settings and haven't had any more problems.

It has plenty of connections, has a great picture, and even instant play (online) netflix movies look great on it. I do keep grabbing the remote upside down because it seems to be weighted backwards, but that's a small complaint for such a good TV at a GREAT price.
