Date: 2008-12-01 better than expected for the price. i bought this tv 4 months ago for 1,082.00$ from QVC.i can't believe how much the price has dropped on this hdtv.i mean believe me when i tell you people this tv is the real deal for such a cheap price.excellent picture from PS3 blu ray just blows your eyesight away games look excellent to.and over the air HD looks spectacular.this tv has great picture fast reponse times excellent viewing angle and good sound.im telling you this tv literally is a steal. Date: 2008-12-01 Great TV, better than expected with HD programming. We purchased this TV for our family Christmas present two weeks ago. We chose the 1080p version because we plan to upgrade to a blu-ray player. Of course we couldn't wait and had to set it up immediately. Initially I thought it was a nice TV and was happy because the screen was bright and it is 'bigger' than our last TV. Then, we upgraded to DirectTV's HD programming. Wow, what a difference. I have to say I am blown away. The picture is crystal clear, bright, the colors are beautiful. Additionally, the TV is very intuitive to use and the menu system is well thought out and easy to navigate. We upgraded from a 27" tube TV and chose the 37" because we wanted a 1080p TV at a reasonable price. It seems like everyone is wanting a 40" or bigger these days, but I have to say the 37" is stunning. It's a great size, feels like a large screen without overwhelming the family room. This is a great TV and is breathtaking with HD programming. If you considering a HDTV do not short yourself, go for the HD programming to go with it. What a difference! Date: 2008-11-30 i love this tv it's the perfect size for a city apartment and came at a great price (with FREE shipping). i bought it on a sunday night and received it on thursday morning. it was very easy to set up. i had read in earlier reviews of this model that the tv doesn't have separate power, volume, and channel buttons on the set but rather--you need to use a remote. i was pleasantly surprised to find them on the right-hand side of the tv. the sound could be better, but i was planning on buying a home theater system anyway. Date: 2008-11-26 great tv i bought this tv via consumer reports recommendation. i have had the tv for 4 weeks and i haven't found anything to complain about. the picture is very good and much better then my 52" panasonic lcd ( albeit 5 years old). Date: 2008-11-25 Awesome TV! After reading Consumer Reports ratings, I ordered this tv online. We just received it today, opened, set up and watching HDTV in less than 10 minutes! The picture is beyond expectations. The color is so sharp and the picture is positively exquisite. Not only did Amazon have the best price, the no shipping, no taxes and white glove delivery made this an exceptional purchase overall. "Santa" delivered the new tv now, in anticipation of my 7yr old getting a wii for Christmas. I am so excited, "Santa" may have to open the wii tonight after he is in bed to test it out on the new tv. Overall, the whole buying experience was so easy through amazon and the tv is just awesome!
