One Star for Amazon
Received the TH-46PZ80U today. Never got to power it up as the screen was completely cracked. Called Amazon Customer Service immediately and was told that I could return the item and they would issue a refund. It turns out that they don't have this model in stock right now, so I can't receive a replacement at the same price I paid even if they get it in anytime soon (the current price from other vendors is well above what I paid). The service rep was absolutely no help and did nothing but say tough luck. So now I'm back to searching for a tv at a good price. And trust me, I won't be searching Amazon!

Input Restrictions
This Plasma is everything you want and has no resolution refresh rate problems. Everything played, slow motion or fast motion is sharp detailed. NASCAR cars do have pointed edges you can see as they are going around the track. Missed a lot of this detail on my old LCD. TOY STORY even looked like it was in 3-D when I played it.
It has a lot of input options BUT I found a big draw back on the Composite input because you CAN NOT use both S-Video and analog yellow RCA input at the same time. Well no I didn't think of watching both at the same time but you cant even plug in both and switch back and forth on which item to watch. PANASONIC use a ground fault disabler that cancals any input siginal coming in the analog RCA input when you also have an S-video cable pluged in. They think if you use the better S-video you dont need the analog RCA. So they stop it from working. Beacuse it uses the ouside grounding shield of the plug to tell the other plug not to work you cant even use a switch box.
Regular DVD or Blue-Ray both look super great. Better than my LCD or rear projection.

Best picture ..by far for the price
After researching flat screens for the past 6 months or so (and watching the prices fall), this tv out shined all the others. The LCD TVs I looked at in this price range fell far short in picture quality, contrast, and motion detail. Panasonic has shown in tests by [.....] to have produced some of the best picture quality in the industy.
I picked it last week and the TV looks awesome!
Highly Recommended!

nice
The picture is great. I thought my buddy's HP plasma was awesome...i didnt know anything. the surround sound even sounds great, though don't expect much in terms of bass. I have a double window about 4 ft from the TV and i havent felt any glare problems at all. I use FIOS, and my friends with comcast are stunned.

great TV, good value
We recently bought the Panasonic Viera 46in plasma TV. The price was good and the delivery time excellent. The TV itself has an excellent picture and the controls (remote) are easy to use. Set-up was a breeze. This was our first time to buy a large electronic from Amazon. We are very pleased with the experience and will consider other large electronic purchases in the future.
