Date: 2009-02-07 Excellent! I purchased this to transfer some business tapes. I have a Toshiba DVD player that I consider top-notch, and this machine did not disappoint. The transfer was simple, and the results were of pristine quality. Date: 2009-02-07 I hope you're patient... I'm glad I purchased this, but my poor husband has spent hours trying to figure it out. The owner's manual is very thick and sometimes confusing. It's working well so far, so I would recommend it, but I wish a tech guy came with it. Date: 2009-02-06 Toshiba DVR610 Haven't tried the advanced functions like burning DVDs, but the unit seems well built and produces excellent picture quality for both DVD and VHS Date: 2009-02-06 It Does it All....and Well! I am very happy with this unit. It Does it All....and Well! Records and plays DVDs and records and plays VHS tapes also(believe it or not it is handy to be able to record on those old-fashioned tapes). The playback of the DVDs on my HDTV(even though) not Blu-ray is great. I placed one call to Toshiba customer service,not because the machine was malfunctioning but because I had a question and I reached tech support(a real and knowledgeable person) on the first ring. I definitely recommend this product. I even hooked up my minicam to it's inputs and watched those videos on my HDTV. Today, I plan to record the minicam videos onto one of the Toshiba's media. Date: 2009-02-06 Good Product! I bought this product a month ago. It was easy to set up. I have been using the DVD recorder and playback, so far so good. I cannot comment on the VCR since I have not used the VCR features yet. Openning the DVD tray is sluggish at times (i.e., I have to press the open/close button 2 to 3 times sometimes for it to open). Other than that, I found this an excellent product for the price. * Price is subject to change. |
