Date: 2009-09-12 AWESOME DVD PLAYER I had been shopping for a DVD player and then I saw it had a dock for my Ipod touch, remote, and all the plugins plus the 9 in screen. I wanted a little bit bigger screen. It even comes with a sleeve to put the player in to protect the screen. It does not close so keep that in mind. I am a OTR truck driver and like to watch movies at night. I am out of work due to an injury and I make jewelry as a hobby. This allows me to watch my instructional videos at my work bench so I can create while I learn. I can put my Ipod in the dock or tuck the remote in the dock to keep track of it easier. My husband even likes to watch this player in bed as opposed to the TV/DVD player because it is easier to get comfortable to fall asleep Date: 2009-09-09 Love it! I bought this for travleing with my 2 year old and boy has it been great! Picture quality is really good and I love that we can also play things off of the ipod. WE also have used it as a tv - dvd player in hotels a lot. The only draw back for us has been not being able to find a holder or attachment for the car. Someone has to hold it for him to watch in the car. Date: 2009-09-04 Great for showing off to your clients We bought 2 of these dvd players for our sales staff to take to meetings with them. As a professional, indoor lacrosse team we sometimes have to show people what our game experience is all about. This was a great tool to do so. Plus, they're always impressed when they pull it out! Date: 2009-09-03 Great This is great the only thing I would change is the life of the battery mine only last about 40 minutes so philips is send me a new one, but I would like to see them last as long as 3-4 hours may be someday they will until then this is still the best one for your money. the fact that it plays my I-pod and all my Dvd's and has RCA hook ups so I can watch my shows on a big screen ( like when at a hotle on in my yukon) is great for me and my Family. Date: 2009-08-30 Not bad The unit is pretty good for the most part. The only draw back to it is that the battery life is poor. You have to be near a power source when you want to watch a movie. Another problem with the unit is that in the iPod mode when you select a video it doesn't play it the selected video. You have to scroll through whole thing. Good quality vidoe and sound is ok. The headset or ear buds are the way to go when listening to something unless your alone in the quiet room. For it's small draw backs it's still worth it. Hopefully they can improve on this idea and make it better!! * Price is subject to change. |
