User Submitted WireLogic HDTV Hook-Up Kit (2m Cables) Reviews Date: 2008-10-17 The Cheaper the better You really don't need this kit. You can simply go to wal-mart and purchase some cheap version of whatever cables you really do need. Copper is copper. The only real reason to pay more is so the cables don't tangle. Date: 2008-08-29 Best kit you can get for your money.. I've had this kit for 6 months and still very impressed. For this price you get a lot more decent quality wires than you pay for. Date: 2008-08-18 Not Worth The Time I bought these with the idea the Monster cables I purchased are over priced. I plugged the HDMI cable into my TV and cable box. I had no signal at all. I happened to wiggle the cable end going to my cable box and got a picture, the minute I stopped the signal went away. Needless to say I installed the over priced Monster cable back in and it works. I am returning this product for a refund. I wasn't impressed! Date: 2008-04-17 HDTV / HDMI HOOK-UP THIS SET IS JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED. IF YOU ARE USING CABLE HD, ASK ANY "CABLE GUY", THEY WILL TELL YOU NOT TO USE THE HDMI CABLE. THIS IS TRUE, USE THE (RBG CABLE)RED BLUE GREEN + 2X AUDIO CABLES. THE REAL REASON IS THIS, THE HDMI CABLE IS MAKING THE SAME CONNECTION USING SMALLER GAUGE WIRE COMPRESSED INTO ONE CONNECTION. MOST PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT THE SMALLER GAUGE WIRE THE WEAKER THE SIGNAL FROM POINT TO POINT, THEREFORE A LESS EFFECTIVE PICTURE. THIS KIT HAS THE BEST RBG CABLE OUT THERE, ALONG WITH 2 HDMI CABLES, THESE ARE GOOD FOR THE DVD PLAYER AND SOME HOME THEATER APPLICATIONS. Date: 2008-03-11 Learning curve. I've learned (the hard way) that you can't get the most out of your High-Def TV purchase without HDMI cables. I learned I needed more than the HDMI cables. I learned that I needed longer cables than I thought. I learned that you can't run just any old cable through the wall (legally). I learned that you need a higher quality cable (for some digital reason) for longer distances, for instance, when you want to mount the TV on the wall. And who doesn't. Mostly, I learned that this kit I never heard of before solved my dilemma. Besides that, I was able to burn the ear off some guy on the toll free support line to get it all righ. All right! Whoever you are, WireLogic. Thanks!
