User Submitted Haier HL19W 19-Inch LCD HDTV Reviews Date: 2007-10-06 Nice one Its all good...I have used it a lot since my day of purchase. Best part is that I use it as my PC monitor and switch btw that with TV(there are not many with this combination and for this price) What is missing- 1. Aspect Ratio...it is a tad less..but for a 19inch TV..I wouldn't expect much Date: 2007-09-13 Poor performace Facial color was poor no matter what I adjusted. Aspect ratio was incorrect in some modes. For example with a high definition picture the aspect ratio was 16:7.5 instead of the correct 16:9. When "Wide" was selected the aspect ratio changed to 16:10 still not correct. The TV is advertized as being HDTV although there is no mention of HDTV in the manual or on the box. The box contains the words High Resolution. The quality with HD signals is not very good. The instructions in the manual to do the necessary scan for stations is hidden on page 22. Should be up front considering this is one of the first things to do. Unit is being returned for refund.
