Date: 2008-04-15 couldn't be happier I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I have recommended this TV to many people after my purchase. The picture is great, the sound is better than some reviews had lead me to believe. My TV does not have the blue halo effect that had been reported in earlier models. Amazon was great, they gave me a great price and delivered it quickly and carefully for no extra charge. Date: 2008-04-07 Couldn't be happier I did a tremendous amount of research before pulling the trigger on this purchase to replace my old 30" CRT (tube) HDTV, and I couldn't be any happier with the results unless it also made me breakfast and was 80" instead. No geometry problems, no bowing, no color push, no hot spot, no halo, no weirdness of problems whatsoever. Fantastic picture. Excellent clarity and color accuracy when set up properly (start with Movie mode with Warm 2 and go from there with something like Digital Video Essentials). The great people of the famous AVS Forum were incredibly helpful in this selection and have great starter settings from which to tweak the picture. Date: 2008-04-07 Great Price, Better TV This TV is awesome. I did alot of research before buying this TV. First let me say that the only other TV that even an option is the Sony. But for the price and the fact that this TV has an LED engine not a bulb pushes it ahead. This television has every option you can need and looks great. At this point I only have basic cable, not even digital cable, however it has a built in HD digital tuner, so I am watching 1080i broadcast in HD, and I have a very good, but not HD dvd play which looks amazing as well. Once the satilite with HD programing comes and with the use of the HDMI/DVI cable I am expecting even better picture. Now looking for the correct DVD player to get 1080p picture. Amazon was great from start to finish, the white glove delivery was including in the price as well. This same model, and make sure when you go shopping for price that you are looking at the same model, there are a few with close model numbers but are not LED, was $2599.00 at the local store plus tax, plus delivery, which you would want, even if you have a truck, if you damage it while bringing it home its on your tab. I paid almost a grand less, total including setting on my stand and the driver stays until you make sure it works. This is the TV to buy. I could not be happier.
