User Submitted Sony DVP-NS57P/S Progressive Scan DVD Player, Silver Reviews Date: 2008-12-30 Easy set up.. Bought this for my mom for Christmas...she is 67 and set it up and all works well. Good price, good quality and the Sony brand. Date: 2008-12-01 A Really Sweet Player I purchased this as a replacement for a cheaper brand player at our church. We have used it several times since and it is easy to operate and plays beautifully! I love Sony. It's onscreen menu is easy to understand and user friendly. The buttons on the remote are a bit small, but not too bad. Date: 2008-11-26 looks great/works great i am very happy with this product! it is thin enough that it doesnt take up a lot of room and matches my silver small flatscreen! Date: 2008-11-18 Disposable DVD player This DVD player works great while it is working. The price is a good indication of it's true quality. Mine failed after exactly one year and three days. Treat this one as disposable. Date: 2008-10-19 Spend the extra 25 dollars for the more expensive sony dvd player The player arrived with the dvd in the open position and it would not work when hooked up. The workmanship is pretty shoddy. I returned it to amazon and got a full refund. I then purchased the upconverting dvd by sony on amazon and am very pleased with the quality and the picture.
