Date: 2008-02-25 Good Product.. I bought a bluetooth a week ago from walmart to use it to my new Motorola slider phone..after browsing the internet and found this Plantonics audio 910,I ended up returning the one i bought from walmart..why should i need 2 if my audio 910 works for both my pc and my phone? i dont have problem switching it from pc to phone when ever i want it..its so convenient..I dont have the wires tangled up anytime i use headphone or phone anymore.. i loved it!! i have lots of things done with this audio device once i used it..it snug in my ear comfortably..listening music while away from pc and talking on the phone while doing other things around the house..Highly recommended!!! Date: 2008-02-24 easy to set up I bought some cheap b/t adapter before, can't pair the headset, this one is factory paired, worked instantly, cost a lot more though Date: 2008-02-01 Satisified with Lessons Learned I migrated to this device from a Logitech USB headset for VOIP calls. This is superior to the Logitech because the Logitech device embedded much noise cancelling technology that it interfered with the call quality. As my laptop has bluetooth embedded, it took me a while to realize how to configure with the native bluetooth. Out of the box it is surprising that Plantronics does not anticipate that most laptops now have bluetooth, and their software does not support natively installed bluetooth devices -- only when you put the dongle in. However one can use the headset just fine without their dongle and without their software, and ultimately you don't even know what you are missing. The switching from my laptop to Treo 650 bluetooth is confusing at best. I find myself grabbing my ear, and pushing buttons. The device keeps loosing its registration on the Treo, but likely that is a Treo and not a Plantronics issue.Note that the description is wrong -- there are no stereo ear buds hear...nice try. I looked for them in my box. Date: 2007-12-24 A bit disappointing The Plantronics .Audio 910 Bluetooth Headset with USB adapter was great in the initial few days for VOIP application, sound quality is good, background noise is low; but then I encountered difficulties with keeping the battery fully charged and having to re-sync the blue tooth to the USB adapter regularly. Finally, after a couple of weeks, it failed to connect any VOIP call and it started crashing my Skype application. So now I am back to my old Logitech device... and unhappy with my purchase. Date: 2007-12-08 Best BlueTooth Headset for Skype and Mobile Phones This is a great headset for Skype as well as your cell phone. I fits comfortably over your ear and stays there securely during all but the most athletic movements. Unlike many other headsets, this places the speaker on your ear canal and not in it. (This may be why some others feel that it doesn't fit well for them.) I find that it blocks a lot of wind noise from being transmitted. Maybe not as much as the Aliph Jawbone, but pretty darn good. It is bigger than some other headsets, but if you fold it halfway between left and right it gets fairly slim and seems durable. (I've broken some others by putting them in my pocket.) Interesting enough, when you set the BlueTooth dongle in Skype, the primary sound output for your PC is the 910. Not so good for music or movies, but kind of nice for listening to things when you don't want others to hear. My "bads" are that I don't like the charger connection. It is a small, short pin/sleeve. I have had some occasional troubles getting a good tight connection. Not often, but a mini-USB charging port would be welcomed. That would be more "universal" as well. I've had some problems switching from PC connection to cell phone. Not enough to give it a black mark, but enough to note to you. If you don't do Skype, VOIP, etc. then I'd suggest that you buy the Plantronics 510 instead. It is the same headset without the BlueTooth dongle but it has an AC charger instead of the one that plugs into a USB port.
