User Submitted Axion AXN6079 7-Inch Twin Monitor Portable DVD System Reviews Date: 2009-01-09 Owned for two months with no problems This is the second two-screen system we have purchased (first was from a different manufacturer). This system has worked as advertised so far. The video quality is better than our previous system as is the sound quality. My only complaint is the DIN cables that connect the screens to the DVD player are not very well designed. The cables have about nine very small pins that have a tendency to bend when attaching it to the player even when you are being very careful. I think these DIN cables are common for the players with separate screens since our last player had them, too. Just be extremely careful when plugging in the screens and all is well. Date: 2009-01-07 Great: Sound, Video, Player; could have better connectors We bought this for long road trips for our kids and us to enjoy. We just got back from 2,400 mile road trip and it worked like a charm. The screen is good, the sound is great and the buttons on the screen and player are easy to use. My only issue, (not even all that big of a deal), is that the S-video connectors that are used to connect the screens to the player aren't the most stable connections. They work great and make it easy to place the screens and player anywhere you want, but they seemed to fall out somewhat easy. And my wife one time didn't have the cable connector lined up perfectly and bent the fragile pins. I had to meticulously straighten all the pins in order to use that connector again. It is nice that it comes with an A/C adapter as well. I took the player and one screen out of the SUV and into our motel room one night. (kind of a pain because the screens don't stand up, but hey, it worked. I would recommend this setup to anyone. It doesn't matter if you have 2 or 3 rows of seating in your vehicle, the long cables to the screens will reach anywhere and still leave the parents in control of the player itself. Date: 2009-01-07 Great sound too bad both screens weren't working correctly First time we hooked it up great! Second time the second screen would only show black and white. Think we got a defective unit had to return... Date: 2009-01-07 great deal! I bought this dvd player after a lot of searching through reviews on this particular brand and others. I decided on this one due to its great reviews from real people who used it on a regular basis. So far, I couldn't be happier! My kids enjoyed being able to look at their own screen and while one was watching the movie, the other was playing their vtech, which was fantastic! I think this is a great product for the price. Date: 2009-01-06 Not suitable for all ages I thought the product itself worked fine. However, we have one child and do not particularly want to watch her baby videos at all times. We ended up returning this product because it would only play one movie at a time. Also, this one required that you have each screen and the player connected to power. If two people watch it it would require that 3 power sources be available. There were wires all over the place which is not very safe with an infant, or any other child for that matter. We tested it and although the picture quality was fine, it was not good enough to keep based on the above reasons.
